Leadership Team

The Zinfra leadership team is responsible for ensuring the success of the business by working together to achieve strong market reputation and profitable growth.


Managing Director – Peter Iancov

Peter is a professional engineer with an established career spanning over 27 years of experience in leading major businesses and projects operating in the project management, construction, maintenance and operation of gas and electricity infrastructure assets and major facilities.

Prior to joining Zinfra, Peter held the role of founder and MD of his own company, along with senior roles of Group Chief Executive Officer of a major Western Australian contractor, and General Manager of WestNet Energy, Alina Asset Management West - an asset management and sustainment business. 

Along with solid, core capability in industry, Peter brings critical experience delivering organisational transformation, winning major projects and long term contracts, as well as negotiating joint venture and partnering arrangements for national and international organisations.

Peter also has extensive Board experience in Defence, Utilities, Ports, Oil & Gas contracting and Indigenous Corporations, along with a track record of delivering above benchmark business profitability, alongside solid safety and risk management results.  Peter has a Master of Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) and a Post Graduate in Robotics and Automation. He is a Fellow Member of Engineers of Australia and a number of other Australian and international associations.



Louren Edwards

Chief Financial Officer – Louren Edwards

Louren Edwards is a finance and business leader with strategic and operational experience in the infrastructure services and energy sectors.

Louren has more than 20 years’ experience in finance roles across a number of industries, with a proven background of managing complex and dynamic financial operations within large corporate environments.

Louren joined Jemena in 2006 and has held a variety of roles during that time, including Commercial Projects Manager in the Asset Management business and Group Manager Finance Reporting in the Corporate Finance team. Prior to joining Zinfra as CFO, Louren was the General Manager Finance, Jemena Infrastructure Services. Louren has also held senior finance roles in companies including Epic Energy and Burswood Entertainment Complex (now known as Crown Perth).

Louren holds a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowan University, and is a member of CPA Australia.


Leanne Beveridge
General Manager, People – Leanne Beveridge

Leanne is a Human Resource leader with strategic and operational experience in the energy and resources, fast moving consumer goods and agribusiness sectors.

With a strong business focus in driving leading solutions, process change and organisational growth, Leanne has also delivered quality processes, strategic change and engagement initiatives.

Leanne has a history working in industrial environments for companies including Lumo Energy, Sara Lee, Unilever and Coles Myer. Leanne has also held the position of Director, BMC Australasia.

Prior to joining Zinfra, Leanne was Executive General Manager, People and Performance at Lumo Energy.

Leanne's educational qualifications include: BA, Grad Dip IR, MBA, Grad Cert NLP, AICD dip, Cert MSCEIT


Zinfra Matthew Watt 
General Manager, Strategy and Market Development – Matthew Watt
Matt has extensive leadership experience in the infrastructure sector, with over 20 years involvement in construction, operations and maintenance, finance and consulting.

Prior to joining Zinfra, he held senior roles at Transfield /Broadspectrum in strategy, market development and work winning.  He was formerly Group Finance Manager at Baulderstone/Lend Lease, structuring and negotiating large project finance transactions. Matt has also worked as Development Director at Seven Media Group and in Project and Structured Finance at Macquarie Group.

He previously founded and operated his own business, providing advisory and management services in the Sports & Entertainment and Financial Services sectors.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) Degree with honours and Masters of Business Administration.


Mario Bavaro

General Manager, Services North – Mario Bavaro

Mario has over 25 years experience in energy utilities and related industries, starting his career as a Cadet Engineer with the then NSW Electricity Commission. 

Mario is a business manager with broad experience in senior and high accountability roles. He has held a number of diverse management positions, with experience ranging from business development to project directorship and management of utility infrastructure construction and service contracts for clients, including accountability for business profit and loss. Mario also has considerable supporting experience in commercial management, financial and business analysis and operations management.



Kevin McGrath
General Manager, Services South – Kevin McGrath

Kevin has over 25 years in senior construction, asset management and critical infrastructure project delivery. Kevin’s experience consists of operational and general management roles with experience relating to commercial, business development, operational and business management in the energy and infrastructure markets.

Kevin has diverse, global engineering experience. He commenced as a Project Engineer at National Grid and thereafter Construction Director for AMEC Power and Operations Manager for 24/7 (formerly TXU/London Electricity). In New Zealand, Kevin was a Senior Consultant at BECA, Divisional Manager / General Manager at Siemens Energy Services and General Manager at Energex NZ.

Moving to Australia, Kevin was the Energy Division Operating Officer at Energex accountable for the day-to-day operational outcomes, including 2,500 staff. Kevin was the first point of contact for all operational aspects for the delivery of the Program of Work.




Paul Birigetti Zinfra

General Manager, Projects – Paul Birighitti

Paul is a business leader with experience in design, construction, commissioning, performance testing and operational/production roles across the Australian oil and gas, mining and industrial sectors.

With over 24 years’ experience Paul has worked with companies including AGC (AusGroup), LogiCamms and UGL, driving business transformation and cultural change programs, delivering efficient execution of major portfolio projects and contracts and building growth and strategic performance in businesses.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering - Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor of Science - Chemistry, along with a Leadership and General Management Qualification from the London Business School.

Rodney Houliston

General Manager, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) – Rodney Houliston

Rodney Houliston is an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality leader with over 20 years’ experience across the construction and mining sectors.

Rodney has extensive experience managing Governance, Standards and Compliance, developing Audit and Training programs, and developing SEQ management systems.

Rodney has a history working with companies such as Walter Construction Group, Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd, Macmahon-MVM Rail Pty Ltd and Tenix Australia Pty Ltd where he has been responsible for incorporating all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality performance into the business.
At Zinfra, Rodney’s priority is to develop programs that will drive Zinfra to embed a safety leadership approach into the way we do business.
