AusNet Services held its annual Delivery Partner Forum in Melbourne in July. Key delivery partners were invited to workshop reducing safety risk across the electricity and gas networks. To close the event, AusNet Services recognised the calibre of the safety challenge submissions by announcing three awards.
Zinfra was in the spotlight as the recipient of one award for the implementation of a pipe cracker mechanism used in the gas division, which was accepted by Southern Contracting's Manager of Pipelines & Facilities, Ben Gliwa (pictured with AusNet Services’ General Manager Service Delivery, John Azaris).
The forum focussed on AusNet Services’ critical risk profile, with attendees providing a collective review of these risks, with a view to reducing risk and increasing safety when undertaking gas and electrical works for AusNet Services.
